Totally consumed with anticipation

I have so much to look forward to this holiday season I'm consumed with anticipation. Click the link to read more, long rambling rant. . .

The wedding, is of course the top of the list, as the planning has become less intense, I've started to think more about how this will change our lives, and we have talked about long term plans. It's changed the way I think about my life, our future, myself and the world. I'm really looking at this as a life changing event.

The wedding it's self is really exciting. All the folks that I have not seen in ages, some of which have not been in the same room for a long long time. I'm looking forward to the conversations that will come up, and the time we'll have together.

Speaking of people out of town, my mother will be staying with me for a few weeks, and that is definately something to look forward to. It's really hard on both of us being this far away from each other. We don't always see eye to eye, but in the end we have a great time.

The trip to Costa Rica is most certainly next on the list. I've been longing to travel for a long while, who wouldn't be excited about staying in a treehouse, walking distance from the beach for a week.

Looking forward, my schedule for next year is almost booked! With planning for snowboarding, camping, mountain climbing, and burning man already in the works, and new opportunities popping up like weeds I can hardly wait for next year to start.

Finally, this is a testament to how big of a geek I am I'm totally stoked i'm getting a Wii on launch day!
