Engagement Party

Lauren's family and my father's side of mine finally met. It went much better than I had expected. There were some no show's, but they were expected. All in all everyone really got along. The food was wonderful, and the wine and the champaign (ouch) kept flowing.

This whole experience has had some very profound effects on how I view the world. I've never had much experience with things like for ever, and always, but now for the first time in my life I feel I have a sense of what those words mean.
